THE FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO FOSTER LOCAL AND REGIONAL AMATEUR GOLF COMPETITION WITH AN EMPHASIS ON JUNIOR GOLF AND TO FURNISH INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS AND PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE GOLFING SKILLS AMONG JUNIOR GOLFERS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS VARIOUS PROGRAMS SERVING UNDERPRIVILEGED YOUTH, SPECIAL OLYMPIANS, VETERANS, AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED GOLFERS. BENEFICIARIES FOR SUCH SUPPORT MAY INCLUDE COMMUNITY PARKS AND RECREATION FACILITIES, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES, PUBLIC GOLF COURSES, POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUES, AND SUBURBAN YOUTH PROGRAMS.
