Big Bend Community Action Committee Inc
To administer the programs for the texas department of community affairs and other appropriate agencies in the counties of brewster, culberson, hudspeth, jeff davis, presidio, pecos, crane, and terrell texas. To work with the three significant groups in the communities: the poor, public, and private sectors to plan programs that will enable low-income persons of all ages the ability to attain the skills, knowledge and motivation to secure the opportunities needed for them to become self-sufficient. To make the entire area more responsive to the needs and interests of the poor by the mobilization of available resources and bringing about greater knowledge of the availability of assistance provided by this agency. Plan and develop priorities that will be the most effective and efficient for the area served.
