BEYOND TYPE 1 IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION CHANGING WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE WITH DIABETES. THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH DIABETES BY PROVIDING PROGRAMS AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT CHANGE THE UNDERSTANDING AND TREATMENT OF THOSE LIVING WITH DIABETES, TO ENSURE ALL THOSE WITH DIABETES HAVE ACCESS TO BASIC NECESSITIES AND RESOURCES, AND TO MOBILIZE THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY TO FUND RESEARCH AND SUPPORT AND ACHIEVE A CURE FOR DIABETES. THIS CORPORATION SHALL ALSO CARRY ON OTHER CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS GOAL TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
