Youth Empowerment Project Grants

Overview

Springfield Youth Empowerment Project (YEP) aims to impact Springfield, Missouri programs and organizations that serve youth and promote their involvement in community service. A total of $10,000 is available.

We will use the following requirements in our review of applications:

* Project proposal requests should not exceed $5,000.00. 
* Project outcomes should benefit youth organizations or programs.
* Grants should be developed as much as is reasonably possible by the youth organization, class, or group making the request.

Eligibility

* Lead applicant agencies must be nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations, government entities, school districts, or tax-exempt faith-based organizations in Springfield, Missouri.
* In awarding grants, affiliates of the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status.
* Grantees must not, in the use of CFO grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
