Youth Development Division (YDD) - Job and Work Readiness (JWR) Request for Application (RFA) (OR) Grant

The State of Oregon, acting by and through its Department of Education, (“Agency”), on behalf of Youth Development Division (“YDD”) is issuing this Request for Grant Applications (“RFA”) known as the Job and Work Readiness Grant (“JWR”), for the purpose of delivering job and work readiness programming and services to youth ages 16-24 who are out-of-school, unemployed/underemployed, reengaged, and/or have demonstrated barriers to education and workforce access, in order to increase training and support for them to have foundational skills and educational completion that position and prepare them for living-wage career opportunities and self-sufficiency.
Funding
Grants awarded to eligible entities will range from $100,000 - $300,000. Each Applicant is limited to $600,000 in total Youth Grants awards across the Community Investment, Job and Work Readiness, and Reengagement Opportunity Grants for the biennium.
