Through grantmaking, partnerships, financial and philanthropic services we are the North Valley's hub for social change. We help individuals, families, businesses and nonprofits maximize their impact on the local and global community. Youth Action Project: Mini-Grant Program NVCF’s Youth Advisory Council is excited to announce our Youth Action Project Mini-Grant Program, designed to support grassroots efforts that promote youth mental health, wellness and social connectedness in Butte County. We believe in empowering local groups and community members to create positive change for young people. Allowable Expenditures Grant funds may be used for: Program supplies and materialsSpace rental for activities/eventsFacilitation or instruction costsFood for program participants (within reason)Transportation costs for youth participantsMarketing/outreach materialsOther direct program expenses

Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status or fiscal sponsorship School-based programs and clubs Youth-led community groups (with adult advisor/fiscal sponsor) Informal community groups/individuals working with a fiscal sponsor We want to fund creative, community-based projects and programs that: Directly benefit youth mental health, wellness and/or social connectednessCan demonstrate clear, measurable impact for youthWill be implemented within one year of receiving fundingServe youth in Butte CountyNonprofit and youth-serving organizations are eligible to apply.

Grant funds may NOT be used for:Ongoing staff salariesCapital improvements or equipment purchases over $200Indirect/overhead costsActivities outside Butte County
