Overview:
A playwriting workshop and program for people living with HIV, designed to support writers in finding their unique voice as they navigate their serostatus.

Eligibility:

Must be 18 years or older

Must be living with HIV

All experience levels welcome

What's Included:

10-week virtual workshop program

Twice-weekly workshops via Zoom

Community building with people of similar lived experience

Optional virtual sharing of work with professional actors and directors

World AIDS Day showcase (December 1st)

Program Structure:

Virtual workshops twice weekly

Focus on creating safe community for expression

Culminating in optional public sharing of work

Submit brief bio and short writing sample

Applications submitted to National Queer Theater

Background: Created by playwright Donja R. Love (2008 HIV diagnosis survivor) to center voices of people living with HIV, particularly Black, Queer, and HIV-positive individuals in theater.
