Working WA 3 Grant

Award Amount: $20,000

Geographic Scope: Washington State

Focus Areas: COVID-19 pandemic relief for hospitality and entertainment businesses

Eligible Business Types:

  • Restaurants

  • Bars

  • Fitness centers

  • Bowling alleys

  • Event venues

    • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Fewer than 20 employees

  • Business negatively impacted by COVID-19

    • Application Details:
    The application does not require submission of invoices for reimbursement. Applicants need an estimate of revenue for current year and prior year, plus their UBI number. Application should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

    Special Note for Tribal Businesses:
    Tribal-member owned businesses must provide:

  • License or certification if business activity is conducted outside tribal jurisdiction

  • Letter or certification from the tribe recognizing the business if activity is within tribal jurisdiction

    • Priority Consideration:
    Applications receive priority if the applicant has previously worked with their local EDC/ADO

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    Required Documents (PDF format):
    1. Completed and signed IRS Form W-9
    2. Copy of valid government-issued photo ID
    3. 2019 Tax Return or other confirmation of Business Gross Revenues for 2019
    4. Evidence of business location (lease, tax statement, utility bill, etc.)
    5. NAICS code or clear description of primary business activity

    Application Checklist:

  • Have UBI number ready

  • Have revenue estimates for current and prior year

  • Gather all required documents before starting

  • Note: Site may experience crashes due to high volume

    • Important Question:
    Application includes a question: "I have previously submitted an application with my local ADO." Check this box if you have worked with your EDC for priority consideration.
