Work Readiness Training Program

Overview: A FREE 4-week virtual training program designed to prepare Brooklyn residents for immediate employment.

Program Details:

  • Classes run approximately 2 hours per day, Monday through Friday

  • Focus areas: essential professional skills including communication, conflict management, personal finance, and digital literacy

  • Practical job-seeking techniques: resume writing and interviewing

  • Includes exercises, quizzes, and individual coaching

  • Post-completion: graduates connected to job fairs, employers, and job opportunities through the Good Help program and job board

      Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be a Brooklyn resident
    • Must be unemployed or under-employed
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have internet access
    • Must have a computer or other electronic device for virtual training
    • Must be able to participate Monday to Friday
    • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
    • Must be able to participate in one in-person intake meeting
