Work Readiness Training Program

Overview: FREE 4-week virtual training program designed to prepare Brooklyn residents for immediate employment.

    Program Details

  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Format: Virtual, Monday through Friday (~2 hours per day)
  • Cost: Free
  • Geographic Scope: Brooklyn residents only

    Curriculum

    Focuses on essential professional skills including:
  • Communication
  • Conflict management
  • Personal finance
  • Digital literacy
  • Resume writing
  • Job interviewing techniques

    Participant Support

  • Exercises and quizzes
  • Individual coaching
  • Connection to job fairs and employers upon graduation
  • Job matching through Good Help program job board

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Brooklyn resident
  • Must be unemployed or under-employed
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have internet access
  • Must have a computer or other electronic device for virtual training
  • Must be able to participate Monday to Friday
  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Must be able to attend one in-person intake meeting
