Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. The Community Foundation has a rigorous internal selection process for each scholarship decision, and each applicant is reviewed in depth, and considered thoroughly. Our scholarship program is simple. You are able to apply once for all foundation scholarships you may be eligible for. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. Wilma Jean Fynewever Scholarship Fund This scholarship fund was established as a memorial to Wilma Jean Fynewever by her daughter, Mary Keeton. Jean was educated as a nurse and enjoyed a long career as a registered nurse in a variety of settings. She was proud to be a part of the health profession and participated in health care research throughout her life. Jean was an encourager who supported others in their pursuit of obtaining professional degrees. This scholarship will forever support a graduating senior or non-traditional student from the Tri-Cities area, Newaygo County, or Muskegon County who is interested in pursuing a career in the field of nursing.Eligibility
