The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth Located in the Fort Worth Cultural District, the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) trains the health care providers of the future while expanding the frontiers of scientific discovery. HSC Health provides patient-centered care to people across Tarrant County. HSC is one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. Our six colleges specialize in patient-centered education, research and health care. Scholarships UNTHSC Foundation offers over 100 scholarship opportunities annually to students of UNTHSC. Scholarship awards are based on academic excellence, achievement, leadership, goals and/or other factors. Willmoth Family Scholarship The Willmoth Family Scholarship was established in 2025 by Seth and Tamara Willmoth to award an annual $1,000 scholarship to a deserving student. Seth is an employee of UNTHSC since 2009 and Tamara Willmoth is a UNTHSC Associate Professor and 2012 alumni of the UNTHSC Physician Assistant (PA) Studies Program. They decided to start a scholarship specifically for an economically disadvantaged incoming (first year) PA Student who excelled in science in their undergraduate education. The scholarship is for studies in the College of Health Professions. The scholarship amount is $500 and the anticipated total amount over the full term of this award is $1,000.Eligibility
