Oncology Nursing Foundation The mission of the Oncology Nursing Foundation is to support cancer nursing excellence. Since 1981, the Oncology Nursing Foundation(ONF), through generous contributions from individuals and institutions, has provided more than $33 million in funding to support oncology nursing education, research and leadership development. This funding has translated to career development awards, academic scholarships, research grants, a myriad of specialized educational initiatives, as well as nurse resiliency support. The Foundation’s activities have played a critical role in improving patient care and advancing the oncology nursing profession. Wharton Nursing Leaders Program Scholarship The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program, facilitated by the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Aresty Institute of Executive Education, will take place December 15-19, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA. Purpose: This scholarship provides financial support to higher-level nurse-managers who are preparing for the role of chief nursing officer (CNO), to attend the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program, facilitated by the University of Pennsylvania. The Wharton Nursing Leaders Program prepares nursing leaders to be successful in healthcare administration through the development of leadership skills and interactive small group working sessions. Applicants for this scholarship must first apply and be selected as a participant in the program by the University of Pennsylvania.
