WF Emergency Fund Grant

The WF Emergency Fund provides crucial immediate relief to nonprofit organizations in the Wichita and Sedgwick County areas facing unexpected challenges. This fund is designed for 501(c)(3) nonprofits in good standing, with applications accepted on a rolling basis. Eligible organizations can receive support quickly to help address urgent needs, ensuring they can continue their vital work in the community. Funding sources are limited, and applications are assessed weekly.

The WF Emergency Fund provides immediate relief assistance to nonprofit organizations in the Wichita and Sedgwick County areas.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for the grants listed below, your organization must be:In good standing with the Kansas Secretary of State’s office A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and classified as an organization to which contributions are deductible under 170(c)(2), normally a public charity under 509(a)An emerging nonprofit certified by the Internal Revenue Service through a form 1023EZ or working with a qualified Kansas nonprofit as their fiscal agent

Ineligibility

For-profit organizations are not eligible for this assistance
Requests not acceptedWe are not providing assistance for the following situations:

• No basic operations
• No payroll
• No lost revenue from planned fundraisers
• No capital improvements
