Overview

NOTE: Letters of Intent (LOI): If you are not receiving Foundation funding in 2026, you are required to submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) in order to be considered for 2027 funding. Before submitting an LOI, please contact the Program Director prior to submitting your LOI. This initial conversation will help determine whether your project aligns with the Foundation’s funding priorities. West End Home Foundation Grant At the West End Home Foundation, we believe aging should be celebrated, not feared. Our work is driven by the conviction that every older adult deserves to live with dignity, purpose, and connection. How We Do Our Work: Advocate– lWEHF boldly uses its voice and amplifies the voices of others to advocate for policies, programs, and cultures that promote successful aging.Convene– WEHF brings together diverse partners and stakeholders from across the aging services ecosystem to remove barriers and expand resources so everyone can age well.Fund– WEHF provides grant funding to mission-aligned organizations that provide direct services to older adults, engage in collaborative initiatives, or advocate and raise awareness to drive change in the systems that support people as they age. Guidelines & Eligibility Program: Funding to support the implementation of a specific program or project. Projects may be new or ongoing. Capital Funding to support a capital investment in agency infrastructure, such as equipment, technology, facility maintenance, or facility acquisition/expansion.

Ineligibility

We Do Not Award Grants: To churches and religious organizations for projects that primarily benefit their own members; however, we may support church-based programs funded by multiple sources with broad community reach and support .To disease-specific organizations seeking support for national research projects and programs .To sponsor special events, telethons, performances or similar fundraising and advertising activities .For legislative lobbying or political purposes .To retire accumulated debt .To individuals.
