In accordance with The Weld Trust's vision to help Weld County become the healthiest and most educated County in the State of Colorado, The Weld Trust is accepting Letters of Inquiry for all six Key Funding Initiatives. Eligibility

Each organization will be limited to two approved grants per funding cycle, and six approved grants per calendar year.Please note: Only nonprofit organizations, schools, and government agencies located in Weld County or whose program is exclusively for Weld County residents in the areas of health or education are eligible to apply.The Weld Trust recognizes that nonprofit organizations incur indirect costs that are essential for the successful execution of grant-funded projects. In order to ensure grantees can cover their true costs and achieve project goals, The Weld Trust will provide funding for indirect costs based on the percentage of the total project costs up to 15 percent.Definitions:Indirect Costs: Overhead and administrative expenses necessary to support an organization's general operations, shared across projects or programs, such as rent, utilities, office furniture, and administrative staff salaries.Direct Costs: Expenses directly incurred for the specific project or program being funded, such as salaries for program staff, travel expenses, materials, and consultants.Multiple Key Funding Initiatives (KFI) are only applicable when the application is for ONE SINGULAR PROGRAM that happens to span two or more KFI’s.In cases where there are clearly multiple programs, the request will need to convert to two applications.
