Purpose: Funding for organizations requiring $2,500 or less for breast cancer-related projects.
Geographic Scope: Wyoming-based programs only
Eligible Funding Uses:
- Increase education and awareness
- Financially support breast cancer diagnostic tests
- Provide navigation services (breast boutiques, gas cards, etc.)
- Support survivors after treatment
Not Funded:
- General operating expenses
- Ongoing maintenance
- Recurring expenses
Priority: Project or program-based requests that align with the WBCI mission to increase breast cancer awareness and prevention across Wyoming
Application Timing: Rolling applications accepted anytime throughout the year. Applications reviewed monthly. Funding is limited and may be exhausted by end of year.
Reporting Requirements:
- Brief summary at conclusion of project
- Provision of relevant video/photos for WBCI website or social media
- Minimal reporting requirements compared to Community Grants
