Overview
WATER, WASTEWATER, and STORMWATER – Disaster Water Grants Program
Supports restoration, repair, or rebuilding of water infrastructure systems, include drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and stormwater projects related to damages from Presidentially Declared Disasters that occurred between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022. Also supports development of water infrastructure system capacity and resiliency to reduce or eliminate long term risks from hazards resulting from the eligible declared disaster. Costs reimbursed by insurance, FEMA, other EPA programs, state programs, and other programs cannot be covered by this program.

Eligible Vermont municipalities are those located in Chittenden, Essex, Franklin, Grant Isle, Lamoille, Orange, Orleans, and Washington Counties (Vermont Severe Storm and Flooding (DR-4695-VT) with a population ≤35,000.
