About Serve Washington Serve Washington advances national service, volunteerism, and civic engagement to improve lives, expand opportunity to meet the local critical needs of residents of Washington, and strengthen community capacity while creating healthy and resilient communities. WA AmeriCorps Continuation Grants AmeriCorps Continuation Grants are currently funded operational grants entering year two or year three of a three-year cycle. This RFGA is for Continuation Grants only – organizations brand new to Washington AmeriCorps operational grant funding and organizations ending a three-year grant looking to recompete for another grant. If you are an organization seeking funding for a program not previously funded by Serve Washington or restarting a three-year cycle for an established AmeriCorps program, this is NOT the appropriate RFGA.
