The Vitalyst Health Foundation offers Spark Grants to support Arizona-based organizations in their efforts to improve community health. These planning grants allow collaborative partners to explore solutions for systemic change rather than funding predetermined projects. Organizations must demonstrate a clearly identified community problem and engage in meaningful partnerships. Award amounts range from $10,000 to $25,000, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing health disparities across Arizona.Overview
NOTE: Invitations to submit a Spark Grant Proposal follow talking with a Vitalyst Director to make sure the proposed project is a fit for the Spark Grants. The first step is The Vitalyst Discovery Process. It is through the Discovery Process that we learn more about potential partnerships and how Vitalyst can best support organizations working to improve community health. The three-step, online process takes between 15-20 minutes to complete. Background Vitalyst Health Foundation is on a mission to connect, support, and inform efforts to improve the health of individuals and communities in Arizona. We achieve this through partnerships across Arizona, including capacity building resources and grant support to organizations who share our mission. Our streamlined “Discovery” process connects collaboratives, nonprofits, and organizational leaders to the best resources to ensure your success improves health outcomes where needs are highest. Vitalyst Health Foundation has a variety of grant and capacity building resources to "discover" for community-based leaders, organizations, and coalitions working to improve the health of communities across Arizona. Spark Grants System change takes time, so Spark Grants support collaborations in their journey to address systemic change. Planning grants to fund time for partners to figure out solutions, not to fund an already identified solution. Support collaborations in the journey to address systemic change.
