Vital Farms Local Impact Grantmaking Program

The Vital Farms Local Impact Grantmaking Program, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, aims to enhance the lives of farmers' communities across Missouri. With $125,000 available, the program focuses on projects related to animal welfare, food access, youth education, and agriculture. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations and IRS-approved entities. The initiative emphasizes ethical food practices and community support, ensuring that funds are allocated to projects that foster positive impact in local communities.

Vital Farms is on a mission to bring ethical food to the table, and they do everything they can to improve the lives of people, animals, and the planet through food. Vital Farms is also committed to supporting the communities where their farmers live and work. In partnership with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Vital Farms has launched the Vital Farms Local Impact Grantmaking Program to support projects that will improve their farmers' communities in the following focus areas:

• With a total of $125,000 to award, grant proposals are accepted according to an announced timetable, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available.

Eligibility

Ineligibility

Grantees must not, in the use of grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity or veteran status either in its employment practices or in its policies and procedures concerning access to services.
