Overview

The Visa Foundation's U.S. Small Business Growth and Innovation Program commits $2 million to nonprofit entrepreneurial support organizations (ESOs) that provide direct services to small and micro businesses. Selected organizations receive flexible 12-month grants of $100,000 to $250,000, sized by organizational budget, that can cover programming and operating costs including staff and administration. Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors administers the open call.

Applications are due October 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. PT. Funding decisions are expected by January 2027, when the grant period begins.

U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charities in good standing (fiscally sponsored organizations and local chapters with their own 501(c)(3) status are eligible) with an annual operating budget of $1 million to $10 million, at least two years of audited financial statements and/or IRS Form 990s, and programs that directly provide business support services (training, coaching, technical assistance) to currently operating small and micro businesses (generally 50 or fewer employees and $1.5 million or less in annual revenue).
