Beatrice Educational Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, was established in 1987, and one of the first education foundations in the State of Nebraska. The Foundation’s purpose is to provide a permanent source of financial support for the expansion and enrichment of learning opportunities for the Beatrice School District. The Foundation manages a $3.8 million Endowment Fund and awards over $55,000 each year in scholarships to Beatrice High School graduating seniors. Villafane, Brandon, Scholarship One $2,000 scholarship is available to a graduating senior of Beatrice High School. Student must exhibit traits of mental and physical toughness, a team first mentality, and a strong work effort in practices. A copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) from FAFSA is required if the student wishes to have financial need used as one of the considerations.
