VFCCE-Walmart Workforce Certification Exam Scholarship

A scholarship program through a partnership with Walmart and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education (VFCCE) that reimburses students for passing industry certification exams required for licensure and job requirements.

Geographic Scope: Virginia students, particularly those at Reynolds Community College

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be a Reynolds Community College student in a degree or certificate program
• Be required to sit for an industry certification test to receive licensure or meet specific job requirements as part of Reynolds program
• Pass the certification exam
• Meet all application and reporting requirements
• Provide proof of passing grade
• Students not eligible for more than one award

Award Details:

• Up to $200 reimbursement for passing certification exams
• First-come, first-served basis
• Requires proof of passing grade for consideration

Application Process

1. Verify Eligibility:
   • Confirm that your certification exam is required for licensure or job requirements
   • Ensure you are enrolled in a Reynolds program
2. Complete Certification Exam:
   • Take the required industry certification exam
   • Obtain passing grade
3. Submit Application:
   • Access VFCCE-Walmart Workforce Certification Exam Scholarship application
   • Provide proof of passing grade
   • Submit completed application with documentation
4. Reimbursement:
   • Upon approval and meeting all requirements, receive reimbursement up to $200
   • Awards granted on first-come, first-served basis
