Canova Foundation was created on October 31, 2013 pursuant to the terms of the Verna O. Canova Trust. To fulfill its mission, the Foundation provides grants to tax exempt public charities primarily in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania, the locale in which Mrs. Canova was born and resided during her entire lifetime. Grants are made annually for capital projects and operating expenses based on the relative merit and need of the applicants as determined by the Foundation's directors.
