UW-Green Bay Clerks and Treasurers Institute Scholarships
Purpose: Scholarships to support municipal clerks and treasurers attending the UW-Green Bay Clerks and Treasurers Institute (CTI), the premier training program for professionals looking to enhance their skills.
Geographic Scope: Wisconsin
Program Details:
- Active WMCA membership (membership must be paid and current for the year)
- WMCA member in good standing
- Currently employed at a Wisconsin municipality at time of application
- Must maintain employment at the same municipality through the Institute date
Eligibility Requirements
- Mandatory attendance: All classes must be attended; failure to attend all required classes (including not disconnecting early from virtual sessions, being on camera, etc.) will result in forfeiture of scholarship
- If no longer employed at the same municipality at time of Institute, scholarship is forfeited
- Scholarships are not transferable to another individual or municipality
- All application questions must be answered completely

Application Process
1. Verify Eligibility: Ensure you meet all requirements, including active WMCA membership
2. Obtain Supervisor Support Letter: Request a letter of support from your Supervisor, Mayor, or Board Chair that:
- States their support for your attendance at the UW-Green Bay Institute
- Includes a physical signature
3. Complete Application Form: Answer all questions on the application
4. Submit Materials by Deadline: Submit both the completed application and supervisor support letter by midnight on April 15, 2026

5. Attend Institute: If awarded, attend all required sessions in July 2026
