USTA Initiative Grant Opportunity

Funder: USTA Southern (United States Tennis Association)

Geographic Scope: Southern Region (includes Georgia)

Focus Areas: Tennis programming development and grassroots participation

Eligibility: Parks and Recreation Departments currently providing little to no tennis programming

Objectives:

  • Promote and develop the growth of tennis

  • Increase participation at the grassroots level

  • Engage new and returning players

  • Support safe and meaningful tennis play in public parks
  • Award Amounts:

  • $1,000 grant option

  • $2,000 grant option

  • "Other" custom amounts based on tennis program offered

  • All grants paid up-front
  • Review Process: All grants carefully reviewed by USTA Southern Parks Task Force

    Award Notification: Within 2-4 weeks of application receipt

    Allowable Uses: Equipment, instructor costs, and marketing
