Union Plus Scholarships for IBEW Families

Overview: The Union Plus Scholarship program provides financial support to union members and their families pursuing higher education.

Eligibility:

  • Union members and their spouses

  • Children of union members

  • Geographic Scope: United States (IBEW members and families)

    • Focus Areas:

  • Two or four-year college or university degrees

  • Community college coursework

  • Technical or trade school programs

  • Any field of study (examples include biomedical engineering, statistics, agriculture, environmental science, nursing, etc.)

  • Individual awards range from $750 to $2,000

  • Since launch in 1992, over 2,300 recipients have received more than $3.5 million in total grants

  • Awards support tuition and education-related expenses
