NOTE: Grants will live in the queue for up to 3 quarters. For example, if an application is submitted on Oct 27th, the application will be considered for Q1, Q2, and Q3. An application may be declined or approved sooner, but if you have yet to hear from Tyson Foods, then the application is still up for consideration. Tyson Foods Community Giving Grants Tyson Foods works to improve the quality of life and opportunities for all our team members. We typically look to scale existing programs with positive outcomes for the community at large as well as our team members and their families. For example, Tyson Foods supported the Arkansas Foodbank Mobile Pantry Initiative with a grant of $25,000 to help provide nutritious food for the community and to expand the reach of the services. Community giving is advised and directed by our local operating locations. If your community organization would like to secure in-kind or financial resources and your organization meets the requirements listed in the program guidelines, please submit a grant application. Community Giving Relationship management is between the plant and the community.Realigns the relationship between the plant and the nonprofit community by relying on recommendations from plants to fund a community organization.

Eligibility

Your organization will be eligible to reapply for a Community Giving grant opportunity per project/program once every fiscal year. We will allow more than one grant application for different projects/programs per year.Nonprofit must have a 501(c)3 tax-status and be U.S. based Must have the support of the local Tyson plant facility to approach and solve a systemic community issueMeet the IRS’s Public Support Test, of having at least 33.3% of donations being given by donors who give less than 2% of the nonprofit’s overall receipts

Ineligibility

Applications for the following will not be accepted:Political fundraising, campaigning, and or lobbyingReligious or faith-based activities and activities conducted solely for a religious, spiritual or faithbased purposeIndividuals, fundraising events that benefit “individuals,” or individual causesPublicly funded services (fire, police, schools) Organizations that discriminate toward any racial, ethnic or cultural group
