Trustee Scholarship

Allegheny's highest and most prestigious scholarship awarded to top-performing students, particularly those in the Top 10 Percent Admissions Program.

Eligibility:

• Graduate in top 10 percent of high school class
• Attend high school in western Pennsylvania (ZIP codes 15001-16749)
• Be in good standing within school community
• Complete application for admission by December 1
• Matriculate in fall 2021 or later
• Full-time, degree-seeking students

Award Details:

• Amount: $38,000 per year
• Duration: Renews automatically for up to 4 years of full-time enrollment at Allegheny or in Allegheny-sponsored off-campus study programs
• Geographic Scope: Western Pennsylvania high schools (ZIP codes 15001-16749)

• Automatic consideration through Top 10 Percent Admissions Program
• Available through Early Decision I or II, Early Action, and Regular Decision methods

Application Process

1. Apply for admission through Early Decision I or II, Early Action, or Regular Decision
2. Submit completed application and supporting credentials by December 1
3. If high school ranks classes: Submit class rank showing top 10 percent placement
4. If high school does not rank classes: Provide GPA distribution charts or request information directly from school administrator
5. Consideration is automatic when applying by the December 1 deadline
6. Award recipients notified via mail regarding eligibility
