TRSU Grassroots Scholarship

Overview: A scholarship opportunity for TRSU elementary school students to join snow sports programs at Okemo Mountain, expanded through partnership with Okemo Mountain Resort and Vail's Epic Promise.

Geographic Scope: TRSU (Two Rivers Supervisory Union) elementary school students

Eligibility: Two scholarship tracks:

    Competition Center Weekend Program

  • 5 scholarships available
  • Applicants must be at least 7 years old by December 15th
  • Must be able to ski or ride at upper intermediate level or higher
  • Disciplines: alpine ski racing, snowboarding, freeski (slopestyle, halfpipe, skiercross)

    Supernova Slider Club

  • 3 scholarships available
  • Skiing: Applicants must be 3-6 years old as of December 15th
  • Snowboarding: Applicants must be 5-6 years old by December 15th
  • No ability requirements

Award Includes:

  • Program fees for the program matching recipient's age, ability, and discipline (provided by Okemo Mountain Resort)

  • Epic Local Pass provided by Okemo Mountain Resort (for recipients who don't already receive one as employee dependent)

  • Up to $500 in equipment assistance funding (provided by Okemo Mountain School with support from Open Door Vacation Rentals)
