Traven Bies Memorial Scholarship

Geographic Scope: South Dakota

Purpose: Offers young hunters the opportunity to experience South Dakota's great outdoors while honoring the legacy of Traven Bies, a passionate outdoorsman.

Focus Areas:

• Hunting and outdoor experiences
• Youth engaged in hunting, fishing, and shooting sports
• Conservation and habitat stewardship
• Agricultural involvement

Eligibility:

• Young hunters with demonstrated passion for outdoor activities
• Students with involvement in hunting, fishing, and/or shooting sports
• Those with conservation/habitat volunteerism experience
• Those with agricultural involvement and experience
