Trauma Psychology Grant

The APF Trauma Psychology Grant is designed to support innovative research aimed at alleviating trauma, specifically for early career psychologists and graduate students. Funded by the American Psychological Foundation, this grant encourages applicants who demonstrate expertise in trauma research and a commitment to improving lives. Eligibility

Applicants must:     be an early career psychologist (a doctoral-level psychologist who is no more than 10 years postdoctoral)be affiliated with nonprofit charitable, educational, and scientific institutions, or governmental entities operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposeshave a demonstrated knowledge of trauma and trauma researchhave demonstrated competence and capacity to execute the proposed workInternational applicants from countries that have diplomatic relations with the United States and who meet the other eligibility requirements may apply for APF funding.APF encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds with respect to age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.

Ineligibility

APF does not allow institutional indirect/administrative/overhead costs and/or fees to be taken out of grant monies.
