Transfer Student Merit Scholarships

Award Amount: $18,000 - $27,000 annually

Overview: Merit-based scholarships available to all transfer students based on their college GPA. These scholarships are awarded as part of the transfer application review process with no additional application required.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a transfer student (previously attended an accredited college, university, or community college after high school)

  • Must be in good academic standing at current or most recent institution

  • While no minimum GPA is required, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher is recommended

  • Scholarships are based on college GPA
  • Geographic Scope: All transfer students (domestic and international)

    What They Fund: Merit-based financial aid applied directly to tuition and fees

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Submit Transfer Application - Complete the online transfer application for your intended start term
    2. Automatic Consideration - All transfer students are automatically considered for merit scholarships based on college GPA; no separate application needed
    3. Supporting Materials - Submit:
    - Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended
    - High school transcript (if fewer than 24 semester hours completed after high school)
    - Standardized test scores (optional for domestic transfer applicants)
    4. Complete FAFSA - Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for need-based financial aid
