Overview: The Tradition of Excellence Award is awarded to University of Kansas students who are dedicated to upholding the prestige and history of the students who came before them and who wish to continue carving a path of distinction for the future.

Award Purpose: Recognizes students who strive to contribute to the development and ongoing success of the University of Kansas and leave their positive, everlasting legacy.
Funding Source: Philanthropic activities of the Student Endowment Board, as sponsored by KU Endowment.
