A financial assistance program designed to help ovarian cancer patients and survivors manage the financial burden of their diagnosis and treatment.
Geographic Scope: St. Louis Metro Area
Focus Areas: Financial assistance for:
- Health insurance premiums
- Basic living expenses (rent/mortgage)
- Renters or homeowners insurance
- Utilities
- Vehicle payments and insurance
- Telephone
- Wigs
Eligibility Requirements:
- Currently undergoing or have recently completed ovarian cancer treatment in the St. Louis Metro Area within the past six months
- Demonstrate financial needs as defined by program guidelines
- "Treatment" includes chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, and/or clinical trials
Award Amount: Total funds available annually will be determined by SLOCA; financial assistance may be limited by fund availability
