TMCity Foundation: Research Grant

The TMCity Foundation Grant supports innovative research in neurocognitive healthcare, with funding ranging from $25,000 to $250,000. This grant aims to address critical challenges in mental health by fostering cutting-edge research and transformative technologies. Applicants, preferably 501(c)(3) organizations, can submit letters of inquiry on a rolling basis, with a focus on projects based in Southern California and the Greater Boston area. The Foundation is committed to catalyzing advancements in understanding the brain and delivering effective treatments.

Once you have determined your initiative is a clear match for TMCity, applicants may submit a letter of inquiry (LOI). We accept LOI’s on a rolling basis. We aim to respond to all LOI’s within four weeks of submission.If the Foundation is interested in considering the request, applicants will be asked to submit a second, more detailed application. We have two grant making cycles annually. See Full Proposal Deadlines above.
Grant Funding
With awards ranging from $25,000 - $250,000, we have the flexibility to sponsor a wide spectrum of non-profit partners.
The most crucial element of an application will be ensuring your request addresses our Foundation’s focus in neurocognitive healthcare and treatments for brain-related ailments.
Grants are made for one year in the first instance, and organizations can apply again for multi-year funding after being awarded an initial year-long grant. An initial two-year award may be considered in some cases.

Eligibility

If you are a 501(c)(3) organization, please apply to the Foundation for grant support.Grants are awarded for research, project, and general operating support.While our research funding in national in scope, please note that the majority of our funding for programs and services goes to organizations based in Southern California and the Greater Boston area.

Ineligibility

The Foundation does not fund requests from/for individuals, capital campaigns improvements, endowments, or fundraising events. We do not make grants to organizations outside of the United States and/or for projects that are internationally-based.
