About The Walt Disney Company Foundation The Walt Disney Company Foundation was established in 1951 by Walt and Roy O. The Walt Disney Company’s outreach initiatives are dedicated to making the wishes of families and children a reality through public service initiatives, community outreach and volunteerism in the areas of compassion, learning, the arts and the environment. The Walt Disney Company UNCF Enhanced Scholars Program The Walt Disney UNCF Enhanced Scholars Program is providing both scholarships and internships to high-achieving college students across the country. This program offers career readiness tools to assist students in achieving their goals in the entertainment industry through experiential learning, internship and mentorship with The Walt Disney Company during the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. Program Goals The goals of The Walt Disney UNCF Scholars Program are to help create a pipeline of college-educated professionals poised to assume careers in the entertainment industry in a variety of business areas, and to help increase the number of underrepresented talent employed in the entertainment industry through the summer internship experience. Juniors selected will receive a scholarship up to $5,000 eligible for renewal during senior year and a potential opportunity for a paid internship working directly with The Walt Disney Company during Summer 2026.Eligibility

Junior enrolled full-time at a four-year college or universityStudents must have an interest in off-camera careers in media and entertainment within all businesses of The Walt Disney Company, such as Disney Entertainment (includes Television and Studios), ESPN, Disney Experiences (includes Parks and Resorts) Students must complete a 500 word essay outlining his/her career goals in the entertainment industry Students must be available for the full length of the 2026 summer internship, if offered.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
