The Summer Camp Tennis Racket Scholarship Package

Overview: This grant supports junior tennis players between the ages of 5 and 11 who are Red, Orange or Green levels and would like to pursue the sport. Up to twenty (20) scholarships will be awarded to deserving male and female applicants.

Geographic Scope: Southern California

Eligibility:

Junior players ages 5-11

Red, Orange, or Green level players

Reside in Southern California

Desire to learn and have fun with tennis

Not Eligible:

Players over the age of 18

Players with low GPAs

Players with a track record of poor sportsmanlike conduct

Award Package Includes:

Age and stage appropriate racket

Balls

Cinch backpack

Other prizes

Number of Awards: Up to 20 scholarships

Application Deadline: May 1 to June 15 (11:59 PM)

Notification: Rackets awarded by June 30

Important Notes:

Applicants may only receive one scholarship grant within a calendar year

Grant recipients are eligible to reapply 9 months after receiving funding and only after submitting a final report

Priority is given to juniors whose families can show financial need
