Overview: The ResQ Fund provides financial assistance for veterinary care for community-owned and rescue pets, with primary emphasis on spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and aiding strays through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs.

Geographic Scope: Currently only available to pet owners living in the eight counties that make up the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia: Berkeley, Jefferson, Grant, Hardy, Morgan, Hampshire, Mineral, or Pendleton County.

Cost Structure: Once an application is reviewed, the ResQ Fund program manager will determine the amount of the grant for the applicant. For spay and neuter, the applicant may be asked to contribute a portion of the cost or apply for coupons that may be available to them. If funding is available through the WV Spay and Neuter Assistance program, the cost of spay/neuter and rabies vaccines will be covered through this program while funds last.

Note: There is currently a huge backlog of requests.
