The Martell Scholarship Fund Grant

The Martell Scholarship Fund, established in 2006, provides financial support to young writers graduating from Clinton High School and Madison High School. Two scholarships are awarded annually, one for each school, promoting equity in education and empowering students to pursue their passions in writing. This initiative by the Central New York Community Foundation Inc. emphasizes the importance of humor and character in applicants, fostering creativity and opportunity in the region.

Scholarships are an essential part of the CNYCF’s commitment to advancing equity and shared prosperity throughout our region. Our scholarships help to make continuing education affordable for students, giving them access to new opportunities that can change their lives.
CNYCF scholarships offer varying award amounts, ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, depending on the size of the particular fund, the renewability of the scholarship, and the directions given by the donor(s) of the funds. Our application process is competitive, and not all applicants will receive a scholarship award.
This scholarship was established in 2006 to provide financial support to young writers from Clinton High School and Madison High School.
