We Are Growing Together Currently the McKean County Community Foundation (MCCF) has some special open grant opportunities. Read more below about these special grants. The good news is we are growing as we work with individuals in McKean County to develop and fund programs that will have a real impact in our community. The McKean County Community Foundation will continue to build a strong Foundation by helping individuals and corporations fulfill their philanthropic dreams through the creation of permanent funds to perpetually benefit the charitable organizations or causes they care about in McKean County now… and for generations to come. Competitive Open Grants are awarded through established funds, each having their own purpose, timeline, and requirements. The grants are made possible through the generosity of individuals, families, and organizations who have created funds to make a difference in their communities. For now we have a few special granting opportunities. The Joe DeMott Port Allegany Community Development Fund The Joe DeMott Port Allegany Community Development Fund was renamed by the McKean County Community Foundation in memory of Board Member, Joe DeMott, who passed away in December, 2020. The fund was originally established by Joe and his wife Sue as the Port Allegany Community Development Fund to benefit the Port Allegany area for generations to come. Average Awards: Maximum grant is $1400
