Overview
The International Education and Exchange Study Abroad Stipend assists University of Miami students in covering costs for studying abroad. Eligible applicants include undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who demonstrate financial need. To apply, students must submit a complete application for a study abroad program and the stipend application by the respective deadlines. Awards are competitive and based on financial need, personal statements, and budget estimates.
The International Education and Exchange Study Abroad Stipend
Students who participate in a University of Miami study abroad program may be eligible to compete for a stipend to help defray costs associated with studying abroad. Students must apply to their program of interest prior to initiating the Study Abroad Stipend application.
Funds are limited, and these are competitive stipends. Awards will be made on the basis of financial need, a personal statement, and estimated expenses overseas must be submitted on a provided budget sheet.
