The Huston Foundation Grants

The Huston Foundation Grants support both Protestant Evangelical Christian and secular needs, emphasizing humanitarian efforts since 1957. Applicants must demonstrate evangelism and provide a doctrinal statement of faith for Christian grants, while secular projects must show unique community needs and measurable goals. The Huston Foundation, a regional, national and international philanthropy is committed to serving Protestant Evangelical Christian needs worldwide and secular purposes regionally, through its grant making, as an investment in humanitarian needs.
According to the directive established by the founders, a majority of the grants must be given to Protestant Evangelical Christian organizations.
Demonstration of Evangelism
Each proposal must show an active presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (the Bible) — with opportunities to receive Christ as their personal savior.Statement of FaithA doctrinal statement of faith is required on the first application to the Foundation.
Evaluation
Organizations are asked to present project goals in terms of quantifiable objectives against which the activities of their grant may be measured.

Eligibility

All applications must have evidence of being granted 501(c)(3) tax-exemption status or other qualified IRS tax determination code.
