Overview

The Hope Fund

Program Type: Grant program for youth enrichment and removal of barriers to participation

Geographic Scope: Greater Franklin County, Livermore, and Livermore Falls, Maine

Focus Areas:

  • Removing barriers for low-income children to participate in enriching experiences

  • Raising aspirations for area youth

  • Exposing young people to opportunities they may not otherwise access
  • Eligible Activities (including but not limited to):

  • Therapeutic recreation

  • Athletic team participation

  • Summer camps and camps for special needs students

  • After school programs (arts, robotics, etc.)

  • Registration fees

  • Equipment or materials needed for participation
  • Purpose: Provide assistance for unmet needs of children, with particular emphasis on enabling low-income children to engage in enriching activities

    Target Population: Children in Greater Franklin County, Livermore, and Livermore Falls with emphasis on low-income youth

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    • Application Deadline: End of each month
    • Decision Timeline: Applications are considered the first Thursday of the following month
    • Maximum Request: Up to $200 per application
    • Application Required: Hope Fund Application form available on UWTVA website

    Rolling Application Process: Applications accepted monthly with rolling review
