NOTE: Letter of Inquiry - Due to high demand, organizations that are considering applying for any type of grant must first contact the Grants and Community Outreach Manager to receive the URL link to complete the appropriate application form. This deadline represents this initial contact with the Funder. The Healthcare Foundation of NJ The Foundation will consider applications that align with HFNJ’s mission to reduce health disparities and improve the health and well-being of at-risk, underserved individuals and families in greater Newark, New Jersey, and the Jewish community of Greater MetroWest New Jersey. Capital Grants HFNJ has long supported organizations making capital requests to fund the construction or renovation of clinical spaces; the purchase of equipment such as MRI machines or surgical equipment; and other such capital requests. Because these projects often do no fit into the one-year timeframe of our regular grants – with the benefits to the community in particular spread out across many years if not decades – we have recently instituted a new application form just for capital requests.
