The Grandparents Legacy Scholarship
Funder: Cards For All People and Legacy Alliance Community Partners
Status: Deadline currently closed
Purpose: A financial support opportunity for traditional students striving to educate themselves for the betterment of themselves and their families. In memory of grandparents whose sacrifice and dedication to family education made this scholarship possible.
- Eligible States: Ohio or Michigan
- Applicants must demonstrate Ohio or Michigan residency
Geographic Scope
- Must be a traditional student currently attending and/or accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college or university
- Minimum GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
- Must provide proof of enrollment from school registrar or acceptance letter
- Must submit grades after completion of semester and/or course
Eligibility Requirements
- Provide a picture of themselves and their support team (i.e. friends, family or mentor)
- Complete a 500-word essay answering: "My family legacy and promise to my grandchildren will be..."
- Scholarships will be paid to the individual

1. Verify Eligibility:
- Confirm you are a traditional student currently attending or accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college/university
- Ensure you have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
- Verify Ohio or Michigan residency
2. Gather Required Materials:
- Proof of enrollment from your school registrar OR acceptance letter
- Picture of yourself and your support team (friends, family, or mentor)
- Grades from completed semesters/courses
3. Complete the Essay:
- Write a 500-word essay answering: "My family legacy and promise to my grandchildren will be..."
4. Submit Your Application:
- Contact fund@legacyalliancecp.org to submit application materials
- Include all required documents and essay
5. After Award:
- Submit grades after completion of semester and/or course
- Scholarships will be paid directly to the individual
