The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) invites applications for The Anthony G. Coates three-year postdoctoral fellowship. Applications proposing to conduct research in disciplines including ecology, anthropology, paleontology, paleoecology, conservation biology, evolutionary biology, functional genomics, microbial ecology, sensory ecology, chemical ecology, animal behavior, neurobiology, soils sciences, and physiology of tropical plants and animals, will be considered. Research should be based at one of the STRI facilities. Proposals that include comparative research in other tropical countries will also be considered. The annual stipend is $57,000.00. The amount of annual research amount will depend on the availability of funds.
