Synod of the Mid Atlantic -Thanksgiving Offering Fund In 2001, the Thanksgiving Offering began to be collected by Barium Springs (North Carolina Presbyteries) and Presbyterian Homes and Family Services (Virginia and Northern Presbyteries). The Offering is distributed to the child and youth care agencies based on designations and an agreed upon formula for undesignated funds.
