Ms. Shearer’s Last Will and Testament contained a bequest to the Community Foundation for the establishment of a nursing scholarship in her name. The goal of the scholarship is to provide an annual scholarship that will enable a student from Chelan County (with preference for individuals from or living in the Lake Chelan or Manson School Districts) to complete a nursing degree.
